Day 19

An old pic of the Beast. In January he lolloped into some broken glass in the woods by us. Cut an artery. Much, much blood. Everywhere. So, he was Gimp Beast for a while. It seems stunningly cruel to take animals with exquisitely sensitive hearing and put a giant amplifier on their heads. He survived, but he was miserable for a few weeks.

He still loves swimming, even though it's getting cold.

The Beast loves to swim, and will swim for the sheer joy of it, but a stick is temptation he just can't resist. He will swim for sticks until he's ill.

More high velocity beast. He's nearly ten, but still moves at speed...
